Ukraine Has Received 170 Billion Euros in International Aid Since the Start of the War

Since February 24, 2022, allies have allocated nearly 170 billion euros to assist Ukraine, as noted in data from the Kiel Institute for the World Economy, which has drawn attention from Ukraine's Ministry of Reintegration of Uncontrolled Territories.

The cited amount includes military, humanitarian, and financial aid from various countries, as well as support from international financial organizations. According to the Ukraine Support Tracker, 40 countries are providing assistance to Ukraine, including European institutions, the International Monetary Fund, and the World Bank.

The European Union has allocated nearly 62 billion euros, the United States 71 billion euros, financial institutions have provided 13 billion euros, and other countries (including the UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Japan) have contributed 23 billion euros.

Half of the allocated resources are financial aid, 40% is military support, and the remaining amount consists of humanitarian assistance. The United States has provided the largest military support to Ukraine, totaling 43.2 billion euros. Last week, Washington announced an additional 1.3 billion dollars in aid for Ukraine's recovery.

On June 22, Ukraine's Finance Minister Serhiy Marchenko stated that the country needs 110 billion dollars in external aid for its recovery by 2027. Earlier, the European Commission had proposed to provide approximately 50 billion euros in financial assistance.
