We are making every effort for the opening of the railway route from Russia to Armenia via Abkhazia. This was stated by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, during a weekly press briefing.

“This roadmap, if it can be called that, includes documents signed at the level of heads of state and relevant commissions under the auspices of our countries' governments. Everything is being done on a daily basis to ensure that all of this is implemented,” said Zakharova.
