The US Imposes Sanctions on Companies Funding Wagner Group

The US Department of the Treasury has imposed sanctions on four companies and one individual connected to the Wagner Group. This was announced in a press release from the department.

The restrictions include companies from the Central African Republic, the United Arab Emirates, and Russia that have been involved in gold transactions to fund the group.

Earlier, it was reported that the United States would undertake new measures against the Wagner private military company this week.
