Kadyrov Publishes Photo from Meeting with Putin
Russian President Vladimir Putin received Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov at the Kremlin on June 27, just before Kurban Bayram. They discussed the situation in the region and the area of special military operations.
“The Supreme Commander specifically asked me to congratulate the soldiers serving in the Special Forces. I wished the brave boys success, a safe journey, and a prompt completion of their tasks,” Kadyrov wrote on his Telegram channel.
Kadyrov also mentioned that during the meeting, they discussed the socio-economic situation in the region, the republic's achievements, and development programs. He noted that Vladimir Putin has “great respect for the Muslims of our great, glorious, and friendly country.”
Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov confirmed the meeting to RIA Novosti: “Yes, it took place.” He did not provide further details.
