Responding to a question from Vahagn Aleksanyan in the parliamentary inquiry committee, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan addressed the assertion made by MP Hayk Mamijanyan, who repeatedly mentioned in his speeches that the military procurement plan had changed, excluding air defense systems. Pashinyan clarified, "On the contrary, there were 'TOR' systems in the SRD plan that we have acquired, and in addition, we have also obtained the Osa-AK system, which has been discussed a lot. I do not close those discussions; let them continue. I want to note that during the July fighting in 2020, an Israeli-made drone was shot down by this Osa system. When it was shot down, it was a global sensation how Armenians managed to hit an unmanned aerial vehicle," he stated. Continuing his response, the Prime Minister assured that no air defense system has been excluded from the military procurement plan, emphasizing that they have also acquired the Osa-AK and TOR missile systems.
