The President of the Bar Association Publishes a Message

The Bar Association of Armenia has published a message from the President of the Association, Simon Babayan, to the lawyers:

“Dear lawyers,
I express my profound gratitude for your active participation in the united, purposeful, and systematic actions undertaken in defense of the legal profession.
Each of us prioritizes humanity, justice, and the consistency in implementing the principles of human rights protection within our respective roles.

As lawyers, we share a strong sense of dignity as members of one united family, as it is impossible to uphold the rights of others without being the bearer of that feeling. Your displayed readiness and actions reaffirmed the fact that the legal community is strong, united, resolute, and unambiguous.

Considering that the demands posed have yet to be fulfilled, targeted actions will be implemented in the coming days. A club meeting will be convened, where the results of the implemented initiatives will be summarized, and the path for future steps and actions will be announced.

P.S. In a state governed by the rule of law, it must be practically established that human rights are of the highest value, and everyone has the right to demand the state restore and protect their violated rights.
