In Vardenis, a Barn Wall Was Demolished and 27 Sheep and 3 Goats Were Stolen

On June 26, a case of large-scale theft of personal property occurred in the Gegharkunik region. This was reported by Shamshyan.com.

Maxim Gevorgyan, a 48-year-old resident of the Geghamasar community in the Gegharkunik region, approached the police department of Vardenis, stating that he had noticed a theft from his barn.

According to Gevorgyan, from 8:00 PM on June 25 to 5:00 AM on June 26, unknown individuals demolished the stone wall of his barn located in the yard of his house and gained entry, stealing 27 sheep and 3 goats belonging to him.

A criminal case has been initiated at the Vardenis investigative department of the Gegharkunik regional investigative division based on the fact of the incident.

According to G. Shamshyan, Gevorgyan reported that the damage caused to him amounts to approximately 1.5 million Armenian Drams.
