VIDEO: How a Submarine Explodes - German BILD Provides an Approximate Illustration
The German publication BILD has provided an approximate illustration of the moment a submarine exploded, which involved five people.
The 'Titan' submarine had embarked on a journey to view the wreckage of the Titanic. Contact was lost with the expedition group 1 hour and 45 minutes after the dive began on June 18.
The search and rescue operations have involved the US and Canadian coast guards, as well as private vessels.
It is worth noting that aboard the Titan were British billionaire Hamish Harding, Pakistani businessman Shahzada Dawood and his son, French oceanographer Paul-Henri Nargeolet, and Stockton Rush, the founder and CEO of OceanGate. The US Coast Guard has confirmed that all five members of the missing Titan submersible's crew died due to a 'catastrophic implosion.'
