2023 Summer Draft Kicks Off as Papikyan Visits RA Ministry of Defense Central Recruitment Point

On the occasion of the commencement of the 2023 summer draft, Armenian Minister of Defense Suren Papikyan today visited the RA Ministry of Defense Central Recruitment Point. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense.

Congratulating the military personnel and draftees on the launch of this round of recruitment, Papikyan, accompanied by Chief of General Staff, Deputy Minister of Defense, Major General Edward Asryan, followed the work of the recruitment commissions.

The Minister of Defense presented the “Defender of the Homeland” program that has started in the Armed Forces, which every conscript can participate in and benefit from the opportunities provided by the program, as stated in the announcement.

Additionally, the Minister of Defense has given instructions to the heads of the services involved in the draft to ensure that the process is conducted properly and transparently.
