VIDEO: Under Prigozhin's Leadership, Wagner Group Reaches Rostov-on-Don; Tensions Rise in Russia

As previously reported, tensions have escalated between the Wagner military group and the Russian Ministry of Defense. Putin’s former chef and leader of Wagner, Prigozhin, has claimed that Defense Minister Shoigu has decided to destroy his group. He has called on the public to rise up and put an end to Shoigu’s 'lawlessness.'

Under Prigozhin's leadership, the Wagner group has arrived in Rostov-on-Don, establishing control over a military airfield and the armed forces headquarters. Prigozhin stated that the purpose of their operation is to prevent an aviation attack on Wagner instead of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. According to him, the head of the Russian General Staff fled upon learning of Wagner's approach.
