Anti-Terrorism Measures Underway in Moscow
An anti-terrorism operation regime has been established in Moscow and the surrounding Moscow region.
Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin has stated that comprehensive anti-terrorism measures are being implemented in the capital to strengthen security.
Andrey Vorobyov, the Governor of the Moscow region, has urged citizens to avoid traveling in the southern direction of the region.
According to the National Anti-Terrorism Committee of Russia, the regime is aimed at preventing possible terrorist attacks in Moscow and the Moscow region. An anti-terrorism operation regime has also been established in the Voronezh region.
It is worth recalling that on June 23, Yevgeny Prigozhin, the founder of the Wagner paramilitary group, made allegations against the Russian military leadership and called for an armed rebellion in the country. He claimed that Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu intentionally arrived in Rostov with the intent of carrying out a special operation for the destruction of Wagner.
Following this, the Russian Ministry of Defense stated that all messages and video addresses circulating on social networks under Prigozhin's name regarding 'strikes against Wagner's rear camps' do not reflect reality and are informational provocations.
