Azerbaijani Armed Forces Violate Ceasefire in Artsakh Using Firearms

The Ministry of Defense of Artsakh reports that from 12:50 PM to 10:45 PM on June 22, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces violated the ceasefire, using firearms in the direction of the Askeran, Martuni, and Martakert regions.

As previously reported, as a result of the ceasefire violation, NKR Defense Army contract serviceman Mher Kamo Hakobyan sustained a gunshot wound.

Following the dissemination of yet another false report alleging disruption of engineering works supposedly conducted by the Defense Army, the Azerbaijani side opened fire from firearms at a tractor performing agricultural work in the vicinity of the Chartar community from 1:40 PM to 2:20 PM on June 22.

The violation of the ceasefire has been reported to the command of the Russian peacekeeping contingent.

As of 9:30 AM on June 23, the situation along the contact line is relatively stable.
