Netanyahu Explains Why Israel Is Not Transferring Weapons to Ukraine
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that Israel is in a unique situation regarding military aid to Ukraine, which differs from the positions of countries like Poland, Germany, France, and other partners of Ukraine.
“We have a strong military ‘border’ with Russia. Our pilots fly alongside Russian pilots in the skies over Syria. And I believe it is important that we maintain our freedom of action against Iran’s attempts to establish military positions on our northern border. The second reason is the concern that it could end up as Russian ‘ticks’ on the battlefield, and later be handed over to Iran, which would try to use that weapon against Israel itself,” Netanyahu explained.
