The Israeli defense conglomerate Rafael has introduced its new SkySonic missile. This was reported by РИА Новости, noting that the missile has been developed over the past three years.

The new missile was unveiled during the Le Bourget airshow. Reports indicate that the SkySonic hypersonic missile interception system is capable of neutralizing missiles flying at speeds ten times faster than sound.

It is noteworthy that Iran earlier unveiled a hypersonic missile in early June, with Tehran claiming its speed to be between 12-13 Mach.
