Armen Ashotyan's Lawyer Files Appeal
Yesterday evening, in the Nubarashen penitentiary, the court decision regarding the arrest of Armen Ashotyan was finally handed over to him through the staff. This was reported by his lawyer, Tigran Atanesyan.
“The decision is 48 pages long, of which 44 pages are copy/paste, mainly from the investigator's motion. Only a very small part of my and Armen's speeches is mentioned, while the main arguments are overlooked. From the remaining 4 pages, one page contains the introductory part of the decision, another page the concluding part, and 2 pages finally contain the court's reasoning. Well, of course, it's hard to call that ‘reasoning’; the judge merely agrees unconditionally with the investigator,” he stated.
