14 Taxis Face Administrative Violations at Airport
The State Inspection Body for Urban Development, Technical and Fire Safety has conducted a two-day joint inspection with patrol officers at the "Zvartnots" International Airport concerning taxi transportation activities.
According to the announcement from the State Inspection Body, specialists from the Transport Safety Department have continuously monitored 40 vehicles. As a result of the inspection, administrative violation reports have been filed against 14 vehicles for operating without the appropriate licenses.
The inspection body reminds that supervision of passenger transporters at the "Zvartnots" International Airport is ongoing. They urge operators to ensure they possess the necessary licenses, as failure to do so will result in administrative penalties in accordance with the Administrative Offenses Code of the Republic of Armenia.
It is worth noting that during a government session on June 22, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that only taxi services that meet specific standards should operate within the airport area.
