Yerevan Zoo Appoints New Acting Director

Yerevan Zoo has a new acting director, as reported by the Yerevan Zoo State Non-Commercial Organization.

Gevorg Simonyan, Deputy Mayor of Yerevan, presented Armen Harutyunyan, the new acting director of the Yerevan Zoo, to the zoo's management council. Subsequently, representatives of the Yerevan Municipality introduced Harutyunyan to the zoo employees.

In his speech, the new acting director emphasized the responsibilities of working in such an establishment and expressed hope that through united and diligent efforts, the zoo will prosper.

It is worth noting that on March 29, 2022, the municipality also appointed a temporary director for the Yerevan Zoo, this time Edmond Ghazaryan.
