Earthquake in Iran Registered at Magnitude 5
Today, an earthquake of magnitude 5 has been recorded in southern Iran. This has been reported by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre.
According to the centre's data, the epicenter of the underground tremors was located 91 km northwest of the city of Bandar Abbas (population around 352,000). The focus was at a depth of 10 km.
Currently, there is no information about casualties or damages.
