VIDEO: This is Not a Show Platform, Davit Tonoyan Wanted to Debate Pashinyan, Andranik Kocharyan

The opposition is refusing to participate in the sessions because they do not want to confront the facts. This was stated today, June 20, during a conversation with reporters by Andranik Kocharyan, the Chairman of the Defense and Security Committee.

"They consider everything that occurs a theater; they can come on the 27th and transform their imagined theater into a process aligned with real life," he said.

In response to a journalist's question about what Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's wife, Anna Hakobyan, was doing at the command staff, Kocharyan replied: "If there are questions about the presence or absence of non-acting people in the command staff, wait until the 27th."

According to Kocharyan, the investigative commission has its format; it is not a platform for conflicting views, and therefore the proposal for an open session involving former Defense Minister Davit Tonoyan, Nikol Pashinyan, and himself was rejected.

"He could have come here; we would have also gone to see him in this format, but he said he would come and debate live, but this is an investigative commission, not a show platform," he stated.
