Video: I signed in the morning of November 9, Azerbaijan did not sign and presented new demands
“Pay attention, I signed the text of the trilateral statement not at midnight on November 9, but in the morning of November 8-9,” announced Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, providing details about the negotiations to end the 2020 war.
According to him, these negotiations were conducted through Russian President Vladimir Putin. The Prime Minister revealed that the Armenian side proposed Aghdam in exchange for Hadrut.
“Ultimately, as a result of discussions, we reached a text where nothing was mentioned about Shushi, about creating a corridor through Armenian territory, but it spoke of the cessation of hostilities, the return of 7 regions, the creation of a Lachin corridor, and the deployment of Russian peacekeepers there and in Nagorno-Karabakh. I signed that text in the morning of November 9,” he said, emphasizing that the trilateral statement was signed not at midnight on November 9, but in the morning.
“It turned out that Azerbaijan did not sign that text and put forward a number of new demands. The culmination of the process was in the evening of November 9, when it became clear that Azerbaijan was practically proposing new amendments to the agreed text,” he added.
