Record Population Growth in Germany Due to Ukrainian Refugees
Germany has reported a record increase in population attributed to Ukrainian refugees. This information was reported by Говорит Москва. Last year, the population of the country increased by 1.3% (1.12 million people). Such data has been presented by the Federal Statistical Office.
It is noted that this significant rise in population is the first of its kind in 30 years. According to the statistical office, at the end of last year, approximately 84.4 million people lived in Germany, including 12.3 million foreigners. The majority of these foreigners held citizenship from Turkey, Ukraine, or Syria.
The largest increase was recorded among individuals with Ukrainian citizenship, numbering 915,000 people.
