Photographic Report: Damages Caused by Wind and Rain in Tavush

On June 20, from 09:27 to 14:10, a firefighting unit from the Tavush Regional Rescue Service conducted inspections in the city of Ijevan, resulting in the trimming and removal of tree branches and the removal of metal sheets. This was reported by the rescue service.

“Specifically, in Republic Square, Valensi, Ijevanian, and Melikbekyan streets,” the statement notes.

Additionally, it was reported that on June 20, from 17:09 to 19:07, the Tavush Regional Rescue Service Emergency Management Center received calls for assistance in removing fallen and leaning trees on Ohanian and Spandaryan streets in Ijevan due to the wind and torrential rain on June 19.

“A firefighting unit from the Ministry of Emergency Situations’ regional rescue service was dispatched to the scene. The rescuers trimmed and removed the broken trees,” the statement adds.
