During the latest operational meeting of the Yerevan City Hall today, on June 19, Deputy Mayor Tigran Avinyan issued an instruction regarding the construction of a new large green park in the area of over 200 hectares in Dilijan Gardens.
Avinyan also addressed the question of relocating the zoo there, stating, "We also discussed the issue of relocating the zoo, but after our latest inventory, it has become clear that there are quite significant areas of land belonging to the zoo in that very section.
