Concerts of Grigory Leps in Kazakhstan have been cancelled due to his stance on the Special Military Operation. However, the singer remains undeterred, stating he will continue to support the Russian army. This was revealed by the singer's producer, Vladimir Uryupin, in an interview with Gazeta.Ru.

“Yes, Kazakhstan is still that Russophobic corner. Grigory Viktorovich's position has been, is, and will remain unchanged. We support our country, regardless of what happens in other countries, or what they say. If it's cancelled, it's cancelled, 'Х*** с ними...'. We can manage without Kazakhstan. We have supported our country, and we will continue to do so, doing what we can to ensure victory is ours. Nothing has happened; it's just another statement, and the people in Kazakhstan have gone crazy. We are a bit annoyed as well. We have supported our armed forces and our army as much as we could, and we will continue to do so,” he stated.

The singer's producer added that Leps does not plan to perform in Kazakhstan, as he avoids traveling to “unfriendly countries.” “We haven’t worked in Kazakhstan, and we have no plans to do so. We don't go to unfriendly countries; it’s the same as with the USA and such. You must do to enemies what they do to us,” Uryupin explained.
