“The reprehensible practice of interfering in the internal affairs of sovereign countries continues, and the forms of such interference are very diverse, including threats, blackmail, and the organization of colored revolutions. The successful bloody coup in Ukraine in 2014 was attempted to be repeated 6 years later in Belarus but failed,” he said.

Meanwhile, the minister stated that the American authorities will not be limited to this and will try to destabilize the situation in Russia in the context of the upcoming presidential elections next year.

“They are clearly not going to stop at this; they have set an explicit goal to undermine domestic stability in our country, especially in the context of next year’s presidential elections,” the foreign minister added.
