Heavy Rain and Hail in Askeran

On June 18, heavy rain and hail occurred in the Askeran region, according to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Artsakh.

According to the report, on June 18 at 16:00, the 911 emergency call center received a report from the Askeran regional emergency division stating that the first floors of two residential buildings on Shahumyan Street in Askeran city were flooded with rainwater, and assistance from rescuers was needed.

To aid the residents, two firefighting and rescue units were immediately dispatched to the scene from the Askeran regional emergency division.

At 16:24, another call was registered reporting that the first floor of a residential building on Danielyan Street in Askeran city was also flooded with rainwater. In all instances, the firefighters provided technical assistance to the residents and conducted drainage operations in the affected homes.
