Court Prohibits Trump from Disclosing Information in Classified Documents Case

A Florida court has prohibited former President Donald Trump and his attorneys from disclosing information related to the classified documents case. This was reported by Reuters, citing the ruling of federal judge Bruce Reinhart.

Special prosecutor Jack Smith had requested that Trump be restricted from publishing evidence and other information regarding the case. According to the court's ruling, the former president can only access the case materials in the presence of his attorneys, and he is prohibited from keeping copies.

The judge's decision bars Trump from disseminating information about the case through media outlets, social networks, and other media platforms without prior notice and agreement from the court. Violation of this ban could result in criminal charges against the former president for contempt of court, as reported by ABC News.

In his motion, the special prosecutor indicated that the case materials contain "sensitive confidential information," including personal data, details of investigative methods, and potential witnesses. The disclosure of this information could jeopardize ongoing investigations and expose individuals who have not been charged, Smith stated.
