Weather in Armenia: Brief Rain and Thunderstorms, Hail Possible

On June 17, in the territory of the Republic of Armenia, brief rain and thunderstorms are expected in some regions, and significant parts of the regions are likely to experience this on June 18, with the possibility of hail in certain areas.

This information has been provided by the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The wind will come from the southwest at 3-6 m/s, and wind intensification is expected during thunderstorms at speeds of 15-20 m/s.

The air temperature will rise by 2-4 degrees on June 17.

In Yerevan, during the evening hours of June 17 and 20-21, brief rain and thunderstorms are possible in certain areas, with rain expected on June 18. The wind is expected to strengthen during storms at speeds of 13-16 m/s. June 19 is anticipated to be dry.

In the capital, the air temperature will reach 29-31 degrees during the day, dropping to 22-24 degrees in the evening.
