Weather in Armenia: Brief Rain and Thunderstorms Expected

The territory of the Republic of Armenia will experience brief rain and thunderstorms during the afternoon of July 8, with isolated areas affected on the 9th and significant parts of the regions on the 10th-11th, and during the night of the 12th. There will be heavy showers in certain areas from July 9-11. Hail is also expected in isolated spots. This information is provided by the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center.

The wind will be from the southeast at a speed of 2-5 m/s, with possible gusts of 18-23 m/s during thunderstorms.

The air temperature will gradually increase by 2-3 degrees Celsius on July 8, followed by a decrease of 5-8 degrees from July 9-10.

In Yerevan, there is an expectation of brief rain and thunderstorms during the evening hours of July 8, on the 9th-11th, and during the night of the 12th, with wind gusts of 17-20 m/s during thunderstorms.

The temperature at night in the capital on July 8 will range between 19-21 degrees, while daytime temperatures are expected to be between +35 to +37 degrees Celsius.
