VIDEO: Protest in Kosovo as Police Use Sound Grenades

A protest has taken place in Mitrovica, Kosovo, in support of three Serbs who were unlawfully arrested. Participants of the protest claimed they were subjected to beatings and psychological pressure by the 'police'.

During the demonstration, several sound grenades were thrown into the crowd of protesting Serbs near the municipal building in Leposavic. No further details have been provided.

It is noteworthy that on Wednesday evening, authorities in Pristina banned trucks from entering and supplying goods from central Serbia. Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic stated that they intend to leave Serbs in northern Kosovo without food and medicine.
