Video: "Remember who among you came to power without a 't-shirt-pants' outfit," Simonyan to Seyran Ohanyan

The Speaker of the National Assembly, Alen Simonyan, today issued a warning to Seyran Ohanyan, the leader of the "Armenia" faction, and to ruling party MP Vigen Khachatryan. This followed a moment during the parliamentary speech of MP Vahagn Aleksanyan when Ohanyan made a remark from his seat, followed by Khachatryan's responses.

Subsequently, a heated debate ensued between Alen Simonyan and Seyran Ohanyan. Simonyan stated, “Remember who among you came to power without a t-shirt and pants, and what they have become. I can present a list of those who came with torn shoes and didn’t even know Armenian,” he noted.
