The Chief Prosecutor of Armenia, Anna Vardapetyan, has imposed disciplinary sanctions on two prosecutors, while another autonomous official has been dismissed from his position. This information comes from the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office of Armenia.

It was noted that an autonomous official in the Kotayk regional prosecutor's office was dismissed for being intoxicated and driving a vehicle while in that state, resulting in a collision with another car. 'As a result of the traffic accident, two passengers in that vehicle sustained bodily injuries and were taken to the hospital. The incident occurred on May 9, 2023, around 02:05 AM... The prosecutor of the Kotayk regional prosecutor's office was dismissed by Vardapetyan's order on June 12,' the statement said.

In another order from Anna Vardapetyan, a 'severe reprimand' disciplinary sanction was issued to an autonomous official in the military prosecutor's office of Goris. It was revealed that this person arrived late to work without appropriate permission and without a valid reason on four separate days, at 14:00, 14:15, 14:20, and 15:30.

Additionally, by another order from the Chief Prosecutor, a disciplinary sanction of 'reprimand' was imposed on an autonomous official in the Aragatsotn regional prosecutor's office. Information obtained during the disciplinary proceedings at the Chief Prosecutor's Office indicated that this individual recorded and published a video unrelated to their job responsibilities during working hours, which was disseminated on social media.
