Photos: Nonetheless, the Sex Championship Has Started in Sweden
The information that sex has been recognized as a sport in Sweden has turned out to be false, while the sex championship has already begun despite everything. This was reported by lenta.ru.
In early June, there were reports that Sweden had officially recognized sex as a sport and that the first sex championship would be held in Gothenburg, organized by the Swedish Sexual Federation (SSF). These announcements from the organizer of the competition have caused a scandal in the country, prompting the Ministry of Sports to issue an official denial.
It turned out that Dragan Bratic, a Swedish citizen and owner of a network of strip clubs and the SSF website, had indeed applied to register sex as a sport, but the application was rejected, and the 'Sex Federation' was never formed.
Nevertheless, the sex championship kicked off on June 8, with representatives from 19 countries participating. Prior to the start of the competition, all participants were tested for sexually transmitted infections.
The championship is noted to last several weeks, with competitions continuing for six hours daily, while athletes will compete in 16 different categories. The event will include three phases: to qualify, a certain number of points will need to be scored.
The participants will be judged by a jury of five judges; however, in the final phase, everything will be decided by the audience, who will be invited to vote online for the winner.
It is worth mentioning that this will be the first time in history that a sex championship is held.
