VIDEO: "If I am standing here, I am interested in the election," MP candidate Rubinjan to Anahit Sargsyan
Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Ruben Rubinyan asked MP candidate Anahit Sargsyan whether she is concerned about whether she will be elected or not. Rubinyan reminded Sargsyan of the statement made by Hayk Mamijanyan, the leader of the "PUP" faction, who said they are not interested in how the parliamentary majority will vote.
“Of course, if I am standing here, I am interested in the election. I would like to be elected, but not for myself; I would like to work in that institution because I have quite a bit of experience. Besides that, I have been engaged in legal activities before and after. By representing two opposing poles—on one hand, the interests of the state in the committee, and on the other, the interests of the entrepreneurs—I have a good understanding and believe that my election and work will be beneficial to the committee,” Anahit Sargsyan responded.
“Do you see, Mr. Mamijanyan, you couldn’t manage to ruin the candidate’s impression,” Rubinyan addressed the opposition MP.
