Strong Fire Erupts at Power Plant in Rostov Region

A fire has broken out at a power plant in the Rostov region of the Russian Federation. The information was reported by Rostov's Channel 1, referencing the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

According to preliminary data, the roof of the sixth energy block has caught fire, with the affected area covering approximately 200 square meters. The cause of the fire at the Novocherkassk state power station is believed to be an explosion.

Sources from the Rostov editorial office have indicated that three individuals were injured and the fire area has doubled, expanding from 200 to 400 square meters. The cause of the explosion remains unknown.
