Pashinyan Orders Collection of Phones and Smart Watches During Meetings

Meetings with Nikol Pashinyan, the President of the Civil Contract party, have become a real trial and headache for the members of the Civil Contract faction. This is reported by the newspaper Joghvorud.

According to the newspaper, every time the ruling faction's members meet with Nikol Pashinyan, security personnel demand that the MPs' phones and smart watches be collected. It seems that Pashinyan is so fearful that he does not even trust his own teammates.

This news was confirmed by National Assembly member Hovikaghazaryan from the Civil Contract faction, who explained, “Yes, before meetings, we collect the MPs’ phones. If by watches you mean smart watches, then yes, they are also collected.” He clarified that the reason for collecting phones from the MPs is so that “they do not get distracted, focus on the issues being discussed in the meeting, and avoid going on TikTok.”
