Police Special Operation in Yerevan Leads to Capture of Suspect in 'Gnungetsi Varazik' Murder

Today, June 13, the Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, along with the Criminal Investigation Division of the Yerevan Police, carried out a special operation in Yerevan.

The police successfully located and neutralized 25-year-old Hakob S. on Ervand Kocharyan Street, subsequently transferring him to the Arabkir Police Department.

Hakob S. is suspected of murdering the notorious criminal known as 'Gnungetsi Varazik' using a firearm on June 6 in Yerevan.

Previously, Hakob S. had a criminal record and served his sentence in several correctional facilities including 'Sevan', 'Nubarashen', and later 'Armavir'.
