Accident on Artashisyan Street in Yerevan: Injuries Reported
An accident occurred on Artashisyan Street in Yerevan, resulting in injuries. This information was reported by the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations.
Specifically, on June 12 at 11:39, the Crisis Management National Center received a call about a traffic accident involving multiple vehicles and trapped citizens.
A unit from the Yerevan Fire and Rescue Department and a special rescue team from the Rescue Forces Administration were dispatched to the scene.
It was determined that a collision involved a “Mercedes-Benz” (driver M.D., born in 1998), an “Opel” (driver H.G., born in 1980), and a “Nissan” vehicle. Passenger A.M. (born in 1977) was trapped inside the “Mercedes-Benz” vehicle.
Rescuers were able to extricate A.M. from the wreckage and transport him to an ambulance.
Both A.M. and the driver of the “Opel” were hospitalized at “Erebuni” Medical Center, where doctors assessed their health condition as moderate.
The rescuers disconnected the power supply of the “Mercedes-Benz” vehicle and closed the gas valve of the “Opel” vehicle.
