Video: Tourist Boat Catches Fire in Egypt, Missing Persons Reported

Three British tourists have gone missing, and 12 others have been rescued after a fire broke out on a boat in the Red Sea on Sunday, according to Reuters.

According to the governor's office of the Red Sea, the condition of the survivors is good, and they were transferred to a location not far from Marsa Alam.

Preliminary data suggest that the fire was caused by an electrical malfunction. The Red Sea governor's office reported that initial examinations found an electrical short circuit in the engine room, while the prosecutor's office has launched an investigation.

It has been noted that all rescued individuals are in good condition.
