Photos: 15 Freight Train Cars Derail in Belgorod Region

Train traffic has been suspended in Russia's Belgorod region following the derailment of 15 freight train cars. This was reported by the governor, Vyacheslav Gladkov.

Earlier, he mentioned that the incident occurred in the Alexeyevsky urban district, but there were no injuries reported. He emphasized that suburban train services have not been disrupted.

“Train traffic has been halted due to the emergency. I hope that the Russian Railways staff will be able to resolve the situation quickly and restore rail communication,” Gladkov noted on his Telegram channel.

Investigative authorities are currently working at the scene to determine the cause of the incident.
