Accident on the Ashtarak-Parpi Highway: Injured Reported
On June 10, at 12:01 PM, a citizen contacted the Aragatsotn Regional Rescue Department, reporting an accident on the highway leading to the village of Parpi, with a gas leak present.
A firefighting unit from the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that vehicles collided at the 1st kilometer of the Ashtarak-Parpi highway: a “Mercedes-Benz” (driver A. S., born in 1980) and a “VAZ-21011” (driver H. G., born in 2002).
Rescuers provided assistance to two passengers of the “Mercedes-Benz”, A. H. (born in 1981) and A. M. (born in 1958), who were transported to the hospital in Ashtarak, where their health condition was assessed as satisfactory.
The rescuers also disconnected the vehicles' batteries and shut off the valves on the gas tanks.
