Cars Collide in Vayk City, One Injured
On June 11, at 00:15, the Emergency Situations Center of the Vayots Dzor regional rescue service received a report that an accident had occurred near the bus station in Vayk city, with one person injured.
A response unit from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' regional rescue service was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that two vehicles, a "VAZ-2107" (driver: K. A.) and a "VAZ-2121" (driver: H. O.), collided at the 139 km mark of the M-2 highway.
Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, a passenger, N. H. (born in 1988) from the "VAZ-2107" was hospitalized at Vayk Medical Center, where he received appropriate medical care and was later discharged.
The rescuers disabled the vehicles to ensure safety.
