‘Azerbaijan has struck the front line of the Armenian population in Artsakh for 7, 9, and 12 days’ – Arestovich

Former advisor to the President of Ukraine, Oleksiy Arestovich, made a Twitter post urging not to panic over the lack of rapid results in the south, citing battles from the 44-day war as an example.

“The citizens' nerves are in hell, and certainly, they cannot be left like this for long. Many military personnel are talking about the lack of rapid results in the south and ‘...great losses’ during the offensive. ‘Everything has failed.’ Nothing has failed, except for your illusions. The Putinists have enough willpower to take Bakhmut in nine months. And many of ours began to get upset about the fact that it was impossible to enter Crimea immediately on the first day.

Let me remind you that the Azerbaijani army struck the front line of the Armenian population in Artsakh for seven, nine, and twelve days in various areas. There were also places where they were hitting for a month, and there were places where they didn’t manage to strike at all. This is a well-prepared defense. Aviation is operational, our artillery is working, drones are being utilized.

Given the level of weaponry and preparedness of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the current situation, there aren’t many options: 1. The enemy still does not know our main direction of attack; 2. The gradual accumulation of the opponent's losses in manpower and equipment in a specific area holds decisive importance. We will break through everything, enter operational territory, and reach the seas,” Arestovich wrote.
