Perhaps Ashot Pashinyan Regrets and Wants to Change the Restraint Measure for Ms. Gayane: Sahakyan

The president of the public organization "Call of the Sons," Vahid Sahakyan, who is the father of Zhora Sahakyan, a casualty of the 44-day Artsakh war, suggested the possibility of Gayane Hakobyan being released based on the statements of her former lawyers. He made these remarks in an interview with Tert.am.

According to Vahid Sahakyan, it is possible that Ashot Pashinyan regrets and wants an alternative restraint measure to be applied to Gayane Hakobyan. "The court session is closed to the public, and we do not know what has happened inside. This is a trial; I cannot say anything," he stated.

It was noted that Vahid Sahakyan is unaware whether Gayane Hakobyan has accepted guilt or not. According to information, Gayane Hakobyan has confessed to the charges; however, the lawyers have neither confirmed nor denied this claim. It is also worth mentioning that today, the hearing in Ashot Pashinyan's "kidnapping case" was held behind closed doors. We remind that Gayane Hakobyan has refused legal representation for the second time.
