I Bow My Head Before All Heroes’ Parents, Yes, Also Before Mrs. Gayane: Ashot Pashinyan

The trial regarding the alleged kidnapping of Ashot Pashinyan has commenced at the Avan residence of the Yerevan First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction. The defense attorney of the victim's mother, Gayane Hakobyan, stated in a conversation with reporters that they are trying to ascertain why the court decided to hold the hearing behind closed doors.

"I bow my head before all heroes’ parents, yes, also before Mrs. Gayane, but at the same time, I say that the law is equal for everyone, and each incident must receive a legal assessment in accordance with the law," Ashot Pashinyan said during the conversation with reporters in the courthouse yard.
