Azerbaijan Purchases Military Transport Aircraft from Italy

Azerbaijan is purchasing military transport aircraft from Italy. This information is reported by Azerbaijani media.

It is noted that the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan has signed a contract with the Italian side for the supply of C-27J Spartan aircraft.

The military transport aircraft are intended for military transportation missions, airborne operations, and aerial delivery of materials, as well as tactical support operations for troops and special forces.
