Azerbaijan's Armed Forces Violate Ceasefire in Artsakh Using Firearms
On June 8, between 02:25 and 02:35, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces violated the ceasefire in the northern direction of the contact line using firearms. The Armenian side did not incur any losses. The breach of the ceasefire has been reported to the commander of the Russian peacekeeping forces. This was reported by the Artsakh Defense Army.
As of June 8 at 10:30, the situation along the contact line remains relatively stable. At the same time, Azerbaijan continues to spread disinformation, attempting to justify the periodic violations of the ceasefire regime by its units.
The statement released by the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense claiming that Defense Army units opened fire in the morning of June 8 towards Azerbaijani positions located in the occupied territories of the Shushi region, and that they attempted to carry out construction works in the Askeran region which were allegedly hindered by actions taken by the Azerbaijani army, is absolutely unfounded.
