Washington Exerts Unprecedented Pressure on All Former USSR Countries: Patrushev
The United States is exerting unprecedented pressure on all states in the post-Soviet space, aiming to undermine the constructive relationships among the former Soviet republics. This was stated by Nikolai Patrushev, Secretary of the Security Council of Russia, during a meeting with the security ministers of the CSTO countries and Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko.
“Washington is exerting unprecedented pressure on all states in the post-Soviet space,” said the Russia Security Council Secretary. According to him, the main goal is to dismantle the constructive relationships among the former USSR countries, as well as to hinder the integration processes within the CIS, EAEU, and CSTO frameworks.
Patrushev noted that the USA is attempting to corner as many states as possible through blackmail, deception, and threats in order to implement its plans, with no consideration for the interests of these countries.
