Sample Taken from Water in Tairan Village and Sent for Examination
In the village of Tairan, part of the consolidated community of Parakar, residents have long been without potable water. According to ArmLur.am, residents report that during the summer months, it is impossible to drink water from the tap, as the drinking water is replaced with artesian water that contains excessive chlorine.
In conversations with the media, Tairan residents noted that due to the poor quality of water, many children in the village are suffering from gastrointestinal issues, diarrhea, and some have even been hospitalized.
Residents have repeatedly complained about this issue to various authorities, but to no avail. The “Viola Water” company responded to residents that the water meets standards, and that the artesian water is mixed with drinking water due to insufficient supply.
Residents informed us that this water has been sent for examination, and they are awaiting the results.
