New Bridge Constructed Over Debed River at Armenian-Georgian Checkpoint

A new bridge being constructed over the Debed River at the Sadakhlo-Bagratashen crossing point between the Republic of Armenia and Georgia will have a receiving commission formed for its acceptance by a professional committee. To this end, the government has adopted a respective decision in its meeting today, June 8.

According to the justification, the construction of the new bridge over the Debed River has been completed as part of the modernization program of Armenia's northern border points.

As a result of the decision, a professional commission for the acceptance of the Armenian section of the bridge will be formed, which will examine the bridge's compliance with the approved project and the mandatory requirements of regulatory and technical documents. It will provide an acceptance act for the completed construction object, which, among other documents, will serve as the basis for the Armenian side of the joint commission for the acceptance of the bridge into operation.
